The time spent rendering a scene tends to take about the same, movie to movie. As the computers get faster and more complex, the movie quality increases. I think it must reach some sort of steady state where the scene turnaround time is just quick enough to allow the movie development time to be manageable.
Awesome! I had no idea her name was Merida. When I first saw this I thought it said Meridia, which would give her the same name as the Daedric Prince Meridia, Lady of Infinite Energies, in The Elder Scrolls games. And that probably came to mind since a few hours ago I was attempting to replicate a known bug in Skyrim where you can duplicate the awesome-looking sword she gives you after you play epic housekeeper by clearing her temple of a necromancer and his undead slaves.
