I love the fact that she's Toph's daughter.

This...is absolute concentrated awesome.
I wasn't sure if I liked Lin at first, since she seemed rather unfair toward Korra...but in hindsight it's pretty clear a) she was right about Korra's recklessness b) it was a form of tough love and c) she's unequivocally on Korra's side. No denying her badassery, and it's only gotten more awesome as time goes on.
Love both series equally, but this is some of the best fanart I've ever seen. :)
