Playing around with the cintiq some more, and I decided to use Pokemonathon as a subject this time around. I'm amazed at how fast I'm able to pump out something like this, maybe 2 - 3 hours? With my normal tablet this would take at least 5 or 6. It's really amazing and fun!
Alright, time to work on serious stuff again I suppose. :) This and that lizardy thing I posted earlier would be speedpaints under my commission information, so if you wanted something like this it's probably be like $20-$30 bucks. Just throwing that out there if anyone is interested.

Well, the one I used before was your standard tablet where you draw on a black surface and have to look at the computer monitor to see what you're drawing. This new one that I bought, however, has a screen build into the drawing surface, so I can look down and draw on it as if the tablet itself were a piece of paper. For some reason being able to look down at what I'm doing vastly increases how fast I'm able to draw! I guess it just seems a lot less awkward, and I can get more precise with my marks. It's pretty sweet actually. :D
