Samurai Pizza Cats/Cat Ninden Teyandee is finally getting DVD releases both in North America and Japan! So to celebrate I doodled this.

This is one of those manga-frames-turned-memes that you'll see Ascii art and parody drawings featuring various characters of if you browse the Japanese corners of the web: a rather bizarre scene of a girl unfastening her bra while someone chants "D-V-D!! D-V-D!!" I put Polly in (part of) her Pointless Sisters outfit here because it most closely resembles what the girl in the original panel was wearing (skirt, ribbon in hair). It actually has two belts! It's hard to notice at first, but you can tell if you watch some scenes in the episode closely.

Given how important an occasion this is, I'd actually like to draw something more elaborate and dignified to celebrate, but unfortunately I'm having trouble finding the confidence and motivation to do anything beyond the occasional chicken scratch these days.
