My contribution to the Equine Art Exchange for the month of September of Warwind's Friesian Alicorn, Friza. The theme was school/autumn. I completely forgot she had wings until I had the sketch in and was inking it ... hrr.

Waow. For forgetting the wings for a while you sure added them in awesomely. I wouldn't have known that they were added halfway through inking if you hadn't said anything, they fit in perfectly.
My only nitpick: the highlights look a little dull. A few brighter highlights would have really made this "pop."
Lurve the pose, though.

Thankye! It's a little embarrassing to forget something that should be quite obvious on a character like wings, I'm glad I remembered before I'd finished it!
Others have noted (namely my Drawing teacher this semester) that I have a tendency to build, but be a bit hesitant about adding that last "pop" with highlights and darks, I'm trying to keep it in mind as I work on future pieces. It seems to be exacerbated with dark colored animals and objects whereas I'm not as hesitant about shading light things *shrug.* Always something to work on *grin.*
