In the year 787 after Nightmare Moon's banishment, the ponies from the other side of the world declared their independence from the kingdom of Equestria. After years of struggle they became a free and independent nation who rule by themselves. They were dubbed the "Lunarians," because they were so distant from the rest of the world as well as the mysterious way that the night would come out when the sun was up at Canterlot. 160 years later, with the two nations continue to struggle for each others' acceptance, a new graduate from an esteemed military school has come to lead a group of ponies of the Lunar Knights, some who are either many years older than she is.

okay... so one side can have a cataclysm that conmpletly destroyed the government and economic system, land, air and color that left only gangs and multiple unofficial factions in charge? ... along with the use of valueble elements as new type of currency such as copper iron and silver? :DD... and the other side will never know? :D
