This album started off under the title "A Message to the World" - after writing a lot of music about our online selves in Unreality, I wanted to do an album that was more based on the problems facing us in real life. The subject didn't really stick, although shades of it are still around in songs such as the title track and "Red Versus Blue" - instead, the song "Navigator" came to me virtually out of nowhere as I experienced a tough year in 2011, and the rest of the songs followed on from that, with a vague theme of searching for something.

As someone who preordered it, I just want to vouch for anyone who may be reading this that it's worth the price for The Crimson Angel of Judecca alone. It's easily one of the greatest tracks on the entire album. If he had actually submitted it here, I would have +favorited it, and you know I almost never +favorite anything.
