A prominent figure in the resistance movement against the totalitarian OMEGA super-corporation, Raul is suave, calm, cunning and calculating. He has embarked on enough adventures to make Indiana Jones blush and has evaded capture, torture and certain death so many times, it should be in his resume. Raul and his daughter, Lupita joined the Kemono Resistance Movement after he received a very disturbing dream one night; a dream where planets were picked clean to the bone of life and resources and where entire populations lived miserable, repressed lives, toiling away beneath a corpse-black sky. Despite his charm, sophistication and vast, antiquated vocabulary, Raul is not at all without his scars. His many exploits, challenges and run-ins with entities best left unknown has left him with a very jaded and bitter outlook on life. His secret shame is that before he was a Treasure Hunter or curator, he was a stage magician for children's parties. Select few know this, and those that bring it up are treated with a profoundly cold stare.

I don't want to come across as rude. Sorry.
But the problem I find is Raul is I see what you're trying to do with him. You want him in your story to be an intelligent badass. And enigma. The problem is he doesn't come across as mysterious, but kinda pompous. Not helping where his companions feeling a tad...dumb? Underdeveloped?
I don't know. It migth have changed as the story wore on. I can't be sure, but something to keep in mind.
