i truely love this pic. and i couldnt have found it at a better time. its pics like this that remind me that we're all alike in at least some basic ways when it comes to our feelings. we all love people and we're all sad when they're gone. great work, truely caught the moment.

Very sad and moving picture. May I ask.. what is the story behind the one who passed on?

I wish I could say there was one. :3 The unfortunate truth is that this piece is one where a lot of people wish that there was a story as moving as the image, but there simply isn't, at least not as it is shown there. The picture was a contest entry for a valentines day contest, and that is it. (I won.)

However, the UNOFFICIAL story that has nothing to do with the image other than the feeling behind it, is that I was thinking of a dear friend who was murdered about 14 years ago. Or committed suicide, depending on who you ask . . . the story his killer said was that my friend was secretly gay, and had been dating this fellow on the side, behind his girlfriend (and recent mother of his baby)'s back. My friend couldn't take it any more, and asked this fellow to shoot him because he didn't want to hide any more . . . . I still mourn my friend. But I feel like this sometimes. I think my bud stuck around for a while, in a way.

I'm sorry for your lost, I understand you pain, even that time has past, I still mourn my friend, he dead of a overdose of drug's but his friend's or people that were whit him left him to die alone, I still get angry & teary wend I think about it, people say that "time will heal the pain” it does but not all of it, but we must go on to celebrate there life and us as well, & treasure the one’s we still have whit us in our life. *Hug’s*
