Because they will be pretty much be a full painting, but without the background. Instead, I'll show the different sides of the character. So pretty much a painted ref sheet. :3 If I was doing how I did them with the flag adoptables, they'd be WAY less, since those don't take much time.

These will take me at least 2 hours each. Most likely between 3-5 hours, really.

Um, I'm not understanding something... But, if they're customly designed from scratch creatures... How can they be "All taken"? ^^;

Because I was just giving out the spots for each elemental design. I didn't wanna make a bunch for one element.

Ah. So it's fully impossible to get something based on one of these now? Or can a standard-ish commission be arranged in private if someone still finds the concept interesting?

Just from this old list. If someone wanted something with an element, they can just tell me, but have to pay at my normal prices.

I have to ask, the Liquid Metal... Wind... Lightning.... How do these affect the appearance of the 'adoptable'? From what I see the adopter provides the desired species and element then leaves the rest to you, but how does the chosen element factor in to the design? I thought a Lightning or Water based anaconda would be cool, a LM dragon or raptor... But how exactly does it influence their appearance? Like, a LM creature would have a Fresnel reflective effect on curved surfaces and have a translucent SSS effect on thinner areas (Near the tip of the tail, barbs and horns, etc) or be 'gooey' in nature?
