Well we were told V was a she by the pet shop and took "her" to get spayed at the suggestion of the vet and found that she was in fact a he. So his dapper mustache is fitting. D is like a toddler though in some ways, he thumps when he throws tantrums and throws his food bowl too.

there was this onicedent where the pet store lady told us that our older rabbits inky and black were both male
we did not find out the differance untill boom babys
the current bunny was what i thought was a male is a female but my mother likes the name bosco to much XD

From what my vet said, it can be difficult when sexing a bunny, so It doesn't surprise me that you had the same issue. From what she told me the boys can pull their 'no no bits' up into their body as a protective thing *shrugs*. Too bad they aren't born with a marking or something..you know like a pink dot on the bum for girls and a blue dot on the bum for boys or something hehe.

*nods* I brushed after a little while. He is so floofy, I can't let him get hair balls...I don't think buns can cough those up like kitties.

they can, but they have a bad habit of choking on them more often than not ^^; their lungs are just too weak to help heave them out. I took the first year of a vet tech course and dropped out, i couldn't handle the animals being put down right after we finished using them for practice... they were in a shelter, so the week they should have been waiting to be adopted, we were jabbing them with needles, only to have them put down afterwards.

I did not know that. I just knew they are supposed to be groomed regularly. I am definitely keeping up with the grooming then!
I took an intro to vet tech, but it was all books and videos, no animals. I wouldn't be able to do that either. I mean you're going to school to save them. That's sad *hugs*

i can tell you take good care of your little bunny, the coat isn't as scruffy as some i've seen. yeah, i had a phobia of needles as well, but I didn't like the thought of the critters not even having a chance to find a good home.

I can't imagine a bun of all critters getting scruffy. I mean they are fun to cuddle and hold - which can be done while brushing them and they're small so the grooming wouldn't take as long as say a saint bernard *images of Kujo jump to mind and shudders*.
v.v Ya that's not good. Hopefully you found the right job for you or are working for it. *nods* I'd love to run an animal sanctuary when I become rich and famous when I grow up *pretends to not be an old fart*.

they are ^^ my birds only get scruffy when they're molting XD the rest of the time they get baths once a week.
Ehhhh, I'm working on it XD it's just hard finding a good job.

I know how that goes. I am thankful for my job. I have friends who are beating the pavement with no luck. Hopefully you get the perfect job soon ^_^

Sounds like my son (he had a few things he deals with), but he's still a good kid, just had to do some things differently is all.

that's about how things work ^^ as long as you have medication for the ADD and can function with autism (though it's a bit difficult to communicate at times) you can live a normal life ^^

hey, if it's not broken don't fix it X3 unfortunately my parents had sent me to several homes for mentally ill people, simply because i had depression and autism. i never had suicidal thoughts so i didn't really see the point to go to any of those homes, it was just a matter of needing the right anti-depressant.
