Put up at the request of
jaggers
Here is a project that I've been working on lately, mostly for therapy reasons (I need something new to do, helps me forget stress for a while). Here are the paws and tail for my wolf character, Makks Demowolf ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/786502/ ).
The green and long white fur were very kindly supplied by
frazzles626
The tail ended up being WAY too fat. I may dismantle it and trim it down on the sides, but the way the head is going, the whole suit might look goofy so maybe it will balance out.. :P
The claws are painted with green nail polish and glazed with a glow in the dak polish. Heh. Fun. Mary Mouse shirt made by Jaggers.

Oh man, my first set of paws I made were awful. I've been reading a lot of tutorials online for help, mostly from the fursuiting livejournal community.
Basically, I traced my hand on a piece of paper, leaving room around to allow for the stitching. Then, I traced that patter onto the fabric, turned the pattern over and traced the other side. Then I sewed the two sides together inside out.
To do the brown making, I cut the shape out of the brown fur, and cut that shape out of the top side of the white fur. I sewed that part together before I sewed the top and bottom halves of the paws together.
The claws were made from sculpey and are just hot glued on, and the pawpads are circles cute from a textured bag. I sewed the circles onto the palms and left a little hole to put stuffing in, then I sewed up the rest.
I think the paws took me about 7-10 hours... i don't have a sewing machine. :P

I'm still playing around with how to do that. Usually, people make little loopies to put a belt through, but I don't want to be bothered with a belt. I tried hooking it to my pants, but then the tail spins and looks odd. I'm trying to devise a way to attach it to pants without a belt.
