I have like 40 or 50 "78rpm" records, even a freshly pressed one (around 2009) in stereo and microgroove : http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9.....argile-7_music
Gramophones?? Gramophones are the easiest tofind out of all elecortonics! o.o Also by us they're still preety popular becouse CD is a crappy media anyway, it goes bad quickly even if you don't scratch <w> I have a Japanese Fisher in my room from the 8o's, but now recently I found my father's Tosca XD That thing is preety big but he forbidd me to try it out he says it destroys records xwx; And it's true some of his he listened to on that gramophone are totaly screwed while newer ones when he got a better gramophone are totaly fine. So now can you tell me if you know why the gramophone might be destroying reccords? x.x
Ooooh you mean LP player XDDDDD.
Gramophon in english (and French Gramophone) is the name for mechanical 78rpm records, not electrical record player or microgroove players.
So, old records player can destroy a disc because the earliest models from the 50 and 60 are HEAVY.
Such players put a pressure of 50 grammes, sometime more, on the groove, while for LP made in the 80's, 90's and after, the maximum pressuse must be less than 5 grammes!
Old recors from the 50's are OK to play on old players, but more recent one must be played on more recent material, or you can bend the ressort inside to make it lighter.

Hmm o.o You're probably right, also since Yugoslavian equipment was a few decades behind XD Oh but epic fail, while the amplifier and the plastics and wood housing are made by BSR in Serbia, the part that is causing TROUBLE, the acctual turntable is made in Great Britain... figures. LOL. Probably some licence thing I'll take a picture then you will understand. I have two extra needles my father put them in a matchbox with cotton he took good care of his stuff XD Well I guess I can still play Glenn Miller records on it at least :3
Nah~ To be honest, as much as some people in offices use they're computers they could just as well have 2000's or 95's becouse some of them use only word and nothing else, and all we'd need to do is just agree to use one version of word for everyone or at least get everyone thoose free doc to docx converter programes and we should be good... it just seems wastefull to me okay!? Why get a new computer if you're not acctualy gonna do anything that you couldn't have done on your old one!? x-x My dad still knows companies by us that still have 486, 386 and some still even 286 computers XD He says lawyers sometimes have computers from that time too and he's even met some (but not old ones!) that still have typewritters lol
Well, when that's all you're doing then fine, but for the rest of us who are running increasingly sophisticated programmes (like Photoshop), Adobe Flash, habitually running multiple programs at once and routinely watch movies and TV shows on our computers instead of our TVs we need more powerful computers.
The continued growth of computing power for Consumers has been driven mostly by one need: Gaming. PC Games are getting more and more sophisticated, with more advanced graphics and complex AI Behaviour (as in, random characters, allies, enemies...anyone who isn't you in the game) driving PC Makers to continuously increase the RAM, Processor Speed, Graphics cards, Hard Disks and any other aspect of the computer's power.

Yes but this has nothing to do with the office S:< Fine if you want a powerfull computer then go and buy one... but still this should be differently distributed and with this I mean that offices only get essential computers for word and shit. But at the same time ebven the powerfull computers should be built modularly. This means, when one part is outdated you can simply replace it and you don't have to buy an entirely new computer. Many companies are mooving in this direction too (exept for bulky companies unwilling to accept development for instance Apple XDD They've shown this in the new Macbook where you can't buy a Macbook with a weaker processor and then replace it with a stronger one but have to buy the initial macbook with a stronger processor. ''It's obvious that with the death of revolutionary thinker Steve Jobs, Apple is lost in the dark and will soon go out of busyness.'' (I should be a negative propaganda writer that'd be awesome :D))
