Why is it that the S.U.D asks of their members to surgically enhance a certain body part? Is it so that the S.U.D can have an elite task force of some kind?
As well, which body parts can one surgically enhance, apart from limbs and senses (i.e. sight, sound, touch, taste, etc)?

That is indeed the idea! Having enhancements also allows for non-standard weapons issued to the S.U.D.
What parts that aren't limbs or senses can be surgically enhanced? well there is also ones voice box. S.U.D also involves espionage, what better to have a person go behind enemy lines that can sound like the enemy
