I wouldn't have thought that F-Zero games would have a reptilian character named Bio Rex as a drivable character, if 
sabrewing wouldn't have given his ideas to me to draw him and fill my "culture gap".
Here's a fancy trivia for you: If I draw characters crossing arms, it might be because I don't have anything else in my mind and will use it as an "emergency pose" just in case (unless it fits for the character well).
