The acrylic sheet, especially 1/2" and thicker makes shavings that look like large snowflakes and they are too heavy to float. I'd have to work really hard to aspirate them.
The belt sander, 3M Gold abrasive paper or the ferric oxide/tallow and cryptocrystalline silica/tallow 'rouge' though I use a mask.
