Aedyn started following the energy until they left the huge clifftop palace, and stepped out into the God's Realm itself. This was utterly splended... a great clifftop , and many great, tall palaces, of various Gods. He looked at one that seemed to mimic the night sky - it was beautiful, really. "I believe that's where he is; it must be his." He stepped off the great cliffedge with Laya, and the two of them easily glided on the air, until his feet stepped down, and he moved through it. It wasn't too big, and Orios wasn't too hard to find, concentrating on one of the orbs, his face rapt with attention. He was definately working on something. He sensed their entry, and a hand went up as if to say "Wait a moment"
Aedyn remained quiet, moving up to see what Orios was doing. There was a wagon, drawn by two deerlike creatures, the creatures in a panic, and several beings chasing it, one of them a Deep Elven woman, with a few trolls, and a fwe other things. There was a shadow-being racing along in the Deep Elf's shadow, with red eyes.
He kept moving his hand over it, and when he did, there were small changes; nothing noticeable, small circumstances. Something that made the wagon turn abruptly to the right, racing right towards a camp, with a tent; and two winged beings, one black, and one white. As the wagon neared, the black one lifted his head, spoke to the white one, who stood, and both took off in the direction of the wagon. This finished, Orios pulled back to watch; He had done what he needed, the rest would follow as it would.
To watch Orios when working was a miracle. He did so little changes, but resulting with such effect, that she felt suddenly a huge respect towards him. He really was caring not to force anything too much. She saw, how he leaves everyone his freedom of choice and apreciated it very much.
Orios stepped back. "Now we watch." He said. The wagon had been caught, the man surrounded, being interrogated about the "key" - which he wouldn't say a athing about. A spell he had set in place kicked in, and he had a heart-attack, dying on the spot, when a great black serpent, a great black cobra, unseen by the others, appeared.
The man looked to the cobra. "It is time." The black snake-god said, then took his hand. The man looked back. "Be safe, my little Larem..." He whispered, then took the snake-god's hand.
"The Lord of Freedom wants to see you before I take you to O'raenl." The Snake God said, calmly.
"Lord Kraeos Himself?"
"Yes; I hear he and.. And that young God of Destiny have some questions for you." He said that with some spite; respect for Kraeos, but spite for Orios.
Orios did not react; he was used to it.
As this was going on, the black winged creature fought like a demon, tearing down the trolls and other various creatures easily, seizing control of the shadowy thing.. then finally, tearing into the throat of the Drowess. These spirits were taken with Ladoros as well as he vanished, leaving the white winged one checking the old human's pulse, and the black winged one finding a small, but fully adult halfblood.
She watched silently the scene and felt a little sorry for Orios. He really didn't deserved this attitude. She made another mental note to come out with anything, that could raise his reputation among the other Gods.
The God, who took a shape of black cobra interested her. She felt a little fear from him - like anyone who knew he would die one day. But his calm behaviour calmed her a little too.
Orios stepped back, then looked over to Aedyn and Laya. "What did you need?" He asked.
"I was simply wondering where Kraeos' Training Room is." He said.
Orios laughed. "Mh, I know alltogether too well, I spent far too long in that place." He said. He glanced back at the orb, where the small halfblood was waking up, only to squeal and faint again when he came face to face with the Black Guardian, the white one coming up to smack the black one upside the head.
"Idiot! You should let ME be the one to be near him, I'm not as frightening as you." The White Guardian said.
The black one growled a bit, but stepped back with a roll of his eyes. "He'll have to get used to me."
"They wanted a Key..." The White Guardian said. "I do wonder what they were going on about..."
"Damned if know." The Black One said, getting a long look from the white one.
She watched with them, what's going on in the orbs and chuckled a little, while seeing those two guardians having their little argument.
"And I wanted to ..." she paused, made a few careful steps towards Orios, with tiny mischievous sparks in her eyes. "...to thank you for all," she quickly stepped on her tiptoes, placed a sister's kiss on his cheek and than stepped back even quicker.
Orios blinked a few times, "Thanks? What for?" Then he looked from her to Aedyn. ".... Oh! Right..." He blushed a bit, and gave a small laugh. "Well... I didn't know who you, or he, was... Honestly, I just saw the two of you together, the future branching off of that a good one. Your others... were rather grim, and after the past I saw when I looked into it, I knew something had to change. That's when I nudged the rift enough to pick you up, and drop you near him."
"So it was you." Aedyn said. He smirked. "Mh.. Those other gods are idiots if they won't accept you; seeing you at work impresses me, for one so young, you have a lot of potential."
This made Orios blush again, then mumble a small, shy thanks. He wasn't used to such treatment... at least from a God other then Kraeos.
