While a crooked game at its best, it does not take a genius to figure out the simple ball-under-cup routine. Especially when the 'ball' has been replaced by the captains prized posession, Capt. Shin having been momentarily taken in by the whispered pleasures of gold and rare trinkets.
So with a careful bump and a mumbled apology, the slight of hand Drayk very gracefully relieves Mana of the Gold encrusted compass, pausing foolishly close to admirer his ill gotten game with glee. A pretty penny it would make in the marketplace. A good room and some strong ale.
Poor Mana.... left to shakily try and explain why Shin's beloved compass has gone missing, while trying to keep her head attached safely on her shoulders. The life of a game-dock wench never seems to have a moment of rest...
