This has nothing to do with the actual website DigiForums.
One day I was internet surfing, just trying to find some website that captured my interest. I went on to Google and typed random letters into the search bar to see what came up. I didn’t want to play Minecraft, and I seen all the videos I needed to on Youtube. I just punched letters in on the keyboard. I pushed a “4” and an entry for “42” came up and it was a pretty long Wikipedia article. There were plain letters in any order like “jkdj” or “asdf.” Even though entries did somehow come up, the links did not catch my eye. I tried to go on to Facebook, but my account was banned, because the password was changed too much, because people kept finding it out, so I had no social website to be on.
I started with A: Amazon, American Airlines, Apple, AOL, nothing. B: Best Buy, Bank of America, Bulls, and Bed Bath and Beyond. C: Craig list, Chase, Chicago Tribune, and Comcast. It changed when I go to D however. There I saw between Dictionary.com and Derrick Rose was something called DigiForums. The name appealed to me so I clicked on the link.
On the website, it was what seemed to be a social network, mostly in Europe though. I figured I would try it out because like anyone I LOVE BRITISH ACCENTS. I set up an account, and fixed up my homepage. I enabled that anyone could talk to me, and I set up my webcam for video chats. I went on to the mainstream, to find the most talked about topics to get my name out there and make some friends. I was about to head into the summer events topic page, when I noticed something I needed.
There was a link that read “Starting out, join Jenny in the topic starters group.” I needed some popularity so I clicked on the link that immediately sent Jenny a friend request. I was accepted within seconds and I was invited to start my first topic. I struggled coming up with one that would attract a lot of people, so Jenny’s messages popped up on my page. She asked me if I needed help, so naturally I responded yes, and she invited me to a video chat. In the box in the corner of my screen sat a young brunette woman, wearing a pink dress.
“So you need help coming up with something interesting, lets see the summer events topic is popular, but that’s not going to last much longer, so why don’t you try something along those lines that everyone can relate to.” Said Jenny.
“Yea I guess so, what If I did something like… uhm… Got it, past summer stories, everyone has something interesting that happened to them.” I said.
“Perfect, now have this code and enter it into the box in the top corner of your screen. When you do that put down the title, and put something into the description box, let’s see how fast people find this, I’m sure this will do good.” Jenny responded.
I put up the topic chain, and walked away from my computer for a few minutes to use the bathroom, when I came back already sixty people posted short stories, but I was sure some people were still typing longer ones. I spent a few hours responding to people, and made quite a few friends from my topic chain. Eventually though, I got tired and decided to go to bed.
While I was asleep, Europe was on a different time zone and hundreds of comments and stories flooded my post. It was one of the biggest successes in the website’s history. In only a day’s time my friends grew to the hundreds, and I got near a thousand friend requests. I logged back on the next day and was shocked to see all of this.
The moment I logged back on, Jenny asked for another video chat. I quickly accepted to tell her the great news. I was exited that I had such a big name for myself in one day, and I could see that Jenny was two.
“So it seems that you did really well for yourself huh?” Jenny asked.
“Yea, I can’t believe how well that went.” I responded.
Jenny said “I have let a lot of people in my group, but you are one of the best that joined me, I would be honored if you joined me on my A list for management here.”
“But the thing is, I live in America, and you are on the other side of the Atlantic. There is no way I am going to get over there anytime soon.” I said disappointed.
“Oh silly boy, you thought I lived in Europe, didn’t you, well I can assure you it is very, very easy to visit me. Click the link I just sent you, it will give you my info.
I searched my messages, and in a few seconds, hers popped up. It was just a link with nothing else, I could not make heads or tails on what the link directed me to, because it read a bunch of random numbers and marks. I clicked on it anyways. The link did something, but my computer screen blacked out and I saw nothing. I waited for a few moments, to see if it was just loading, but nothing happened. I was about to get up and reset my computer, when green, grid lines flashed on the screen. I looked at it curiously, because it seemed to be in 3D, it seemed very cool.
Nothing else was there, and after a few more minutes of looking at the grid I gave up, and got out of my chair. I thought I was hallucinating when I turned around and still saw the grid. I shut my eyes for a minute, thinking that the screen burned in slightly, but I opened them again only to see a big empty grid. I was standing in the middle of no where. Not at my house, not in Europe, and not in anywhere in between. I pinched myself to see if I was dreaming, because what happened on DigiForums was nearly impossible anyway. I began to panic, then all of a sudden. “So you decided to visit me.”
I quickly turned around, and saw a three foot tall, pink and purple bird staring at me. I was really confused, and tried to get away, but I seemed I wasn’t moving anywhere.
“You don’t recognize me, figures, It’s me Jenny, this is my home.”
“WHAT IS GOING ON.” I yelled.
“Don’t worry it will make sense shortly, just hook yourself up to that machine over there.”
I turned around again, and saw what appeared to be a giant egg. I would never have stepped into it, but something gave me a violent push and I stumbled into the device. I closed behind me, and there was no way to escape. I sat there defeated. I heard a faint voice behind the wall. “Okay, I like this kid so lets give him something he will enjoy.” I heard some clicks of a mouse and then “Perfect, I like this one.” With the loud push of a key the machine closed in around me and contorted me to roughly the same size of the bird.
The fit became easier, because I apparently shrunk in the machine, but then a small handheld, contraption fell at my feet, and shot an orange beam of light at me. I felt the pressure against my face, but I did not feel like pain. I felt like a hearty massage on my hands and feet and head. My hands gradually decreased in size and small, black paws stayed. My feet were slightly larger, but still had the same basic shape. My head sunk back into my shoulders, and orange skin started to cover my face. My hair fell out, revealing two bumps in the top of my head. I rubbed the bumps, which then sprouted out and unfolded into to wings atop my head.
The machine opened up again, and I fell out. I was still very dizzy, and disorientated from the process, and my head was groggy. I wobbled a little when I stood up, because my feet were fairly small, and I lost a good two and a half feet in the machine.
“Did you have fun?”
“Jenny, what did you do to me?”
“The website is called DigiForums, get it Digiforms, Digimon. I love doing this to people.”
“What are you talking about?” I asked
“Okay, This website is accessed by regular people, but not managed by them. Us digimon, run this website, and help others join our group. When you joined me, you decided to start a life as this, and might I add you are a good looking Patamon.”
“I never wanted this, when did this ever come up?”
“Does it matter, there is no changing back, you life is going to be like this for no on, I doesn’t matter anymore, so get used to it. It actually is a very fun life if you look at it the right way. Oh before I forget, my name is Biyomon, not Jenny.” She said.
“She’s right” I said to myself “I better get used to this, it is my life now, but NO, I can’t this is not how my life is change me back Jen- Biyomon, NOW.
Oh you think your so smart, you are the first one to figure out I was lying on no changing back, well if you must. You see this thing, this little device that was on the floor of the machine, pick it up.”
The small device on the floor by the machine started beeping, I went to pick it up, and found out what it was.
“Oh this is my digivice, I better hold on to this.”
“I started to learn things from just holding it. I figured out how to, and when to work on our website, and what to do on it. I was to fiddle around as a moderator, and find out what needed fixing, and recruiting anyone who helped me out with it. The idea of recruiting came to my mind. I didn’t enjoy the process, or did I. I don’t remember now. Oh that’s right I remember Biyomon asking me if I enjoyed it, and I said yes. Yea if I enjoyed it I am sure plenty of others would to.
Biyomon was going reset my account as a moderator. I journeyed over to her my of the grid, or a nest as she liked to call it, for my quick briefing. I finally met up at my nest and she told me how to reset my account, but I had to clear my friend list, but they stayed on my contacts page, so they knew what I was up to.
I found my way back to my area, and found that it had been recreated into my own nice bedroom, with my same computer, and much bigger furniture. It was like I was still at home, but as a digimon, in a virtual world, with a few new friends, and a new job, and some people who I might be deciding on recruiting.
“Its about time you got used to your new life, I only had to take your human memories, but it finally worked patomon.”
“What?” I questioned.
“Go back to your business, I have something important I have to do.”
She ventured off somewhere that I could not see, but I ignored her.
THE END
“Yes with his memories, I can construct my own human DNA, and enter the real world; I can start of new digital universe, of my own. HEHE.

It seemed a bit rushed in certain places but over all this was a nice read!
I love how not only the memories are wiped but also the account is reset so others think you're a diffrent person as well. Leaving no connection to your past self. A very nice idea.
Also if the real DigiForums was anything like this i'd join so fast.
Always wanted to be a Veemon
