its the wii-beam. Its one of the early boss battels. You fight riddley while falling into an endless pit. its really awsome.

Ah, so it's like using the regular beam on Ridley when in the Space Colony at the beginning of Super Metroid. Neat that you're falling. I need to pick that up when I get a Wii.

yea. you get the regular beam with charge shot to begin with. Also all your subsequent add ons stack like in super metriod. No more changing beams every 10 seconds so you can walk through 4 rooms. The game is very nice and streamlined in a good way. Also boss battles can be maddening cause ther both cool and hard if you dont know what to expect. The riddley fight is actually timed and if you dont kill him in time you die i guess..from hitting the floor of the shaft or something.
