Safaga is a holiday town in egypt, about 100 km south from Hugarda at the coast of the red sea. There I spent my holiday as you see.
And on this first boat ride for an "open sea dive", I saw the water turning pitch black when you looked against the sun. It had something strange and still beautiful and I couldn't reject the thought, that oil would also look that way. Turning the light blue water into a black something. Needed to take this picture though, to remember that thought and how a single detail, like the point of the sun or the position of the cam can change a picture completely.
(btw. the mountains in the back are very very high. They just look so small. the biggest one there comes to an height of over 2km.
