What am I?

Human?

No I don’t feel human.

But I look it.

But my spirit feels too reckless,

To be human.

I feel like I should have been,

An animal.

A sly and smart,

A fast and small,

Cunning and sneaky,

Like a fox.

I feel like a fox,

But look human.

My fox spirit feels very,

Caged in this human body.

I wish to let it free,

But sometimes I wish it to stay caged.

If it was free then,

I wouldn’t be me anymore.
