So when the Prydwen Fanart Contest was announced, I really was rather indifferent because I didn't know anything about the comic. But seeing the link in the contest info, I decided to hop on over and read some of it. I fell instantly in love with it. ^^ The art is lovely, the characters are all unique and it's just a fun read!

So after reading the first 40 or so pages the first day the contest was posted, I bookmarked the contest journal, the webcomic, and some of the ref sheets of the characters who I might use in an entry. Then amazingly I forgot about it until last night when the reminder announcement was made that entries were due Monday. CRAP! XD

So this was done over the course of 2 days in a total of about 7 hours. I am completely 100% stunned and amazed that I managed to ink and shade all of that in such a short time. I seriously give most of the credit to  foxamoore and his OST that he created for this comic. I listened to it while working on the pic on repeat and it was seriously utterly inspirational <3

So this pic features Prydwen herself as well as Solon and his faithful warsteed, Einheriar. I really wanted to use those two and Prydwen together because I wanted an effect of fading in and outh with her hair color and these two being there as well. I don't think I quite managed to get the look the way I wanted it, but alas it was my fault for being so forgetful. X3
