I've got the same wool hat. Even the emblem is almost the same. :) It was produced in the USSR at some point in the 1960's, put into storage, and then baught by my self 30 years latter. I'm still amazed at the quality and how well it looks after 40 years!

Honestly like most old USSR surplus it did not cost very much. If you search around the net you'll find some people who sell legit USSR made uniforms. :)
