In my opinion, out of all the MIDI songs I've written at JCCC, this is the best one. The original assignment was to write a ballad of any length featuring one instrument as the major solo. I decided to take it a step further and somehow ended up with this, a piece I--without realizing it--put a lot more of my own soul and spirituality into than I had intended. This song belongs to my inner self more than to me or anyone else and has probably been my most effective (albeit lousily mixed) reason to continue writing music. Someday I hope to re-orchestrate this as part of a bigger project, but for now I think this is a suitable theme song for Guan.

You're right. This IS your best peice that you have posted on FA. I hadn't gotten around to listening to it again until you commented back. So, this is my favorite of what you have posted, and Scaling the Tapestries is my second favorite. I just wish I had better sound quality to hear this piece better. The beginning is a little to quiet for me to hear.
