This was my first second semester piece, done after being assigned to write a Latin piece two minutes long, being sure to include a solo part that sounds fairly improvised. This is a dangerous thing to tell a percussion major itching to write something fast and brash with a lot of repeating motifs. I would really like this piece if not for the GOD DAMNED JESUS FLOGGING BEATLES REAMING MOTHER TERESA BITCH SLAPPING FURRY SIBEING PIECE OF CRAP trumpet synth, which simply would not do what I asked of it. Still not bad for an hour's time of work.
