hey now. Art following life or Vice Versa? Anyhoo, I would have enjoyed reading that issue mainly because I find the concept intriguing. Wasn't it in the "Flash' TV show where Mark Hammil played the Trickster? I think they even aired an episode featuring "Abra Cadabra."
I know how you feel and trust me its not easy when you don't have a job but you can take what you can get. I hope your luck comes around or at least start trying to get a part time job at a hotel or another area of work for some type of income. Sucks but its better than nothing and for me here in Kansas its called taking on small jobs right now to help pay for a new clutch in my truck as well.
Yes.. I know these feelings.. I have cut alot of those myself. Fortunately, I live in Canada.. I so I get free medicare. ^.^

(Chuckles evily.) I think I've got about a third or fourth Mortgage on that commidity already. Oh man... Seeing the signs up here in the Bay Area, I have a feeling I might need to escape to a "Safer" country until the next four years blow over. The people aren't going to tolerate another four years of "Have-it, Don't Got it" economics.
Mhhh yeah its allways the same, even here in the oh so successful germany.
The polititians tell us common & poor people to tighten the belt. While they rise their own wages because they have to keep up the quality of their own live.
In the meantime they fake the statistics and tell all the world that this country has less unemployed people with every month. What a fucking lie, they make people disapear out of the statistics by giving them 1-Euro Jobs (means you earn 1 Euro per hour and still receive unemployment support)
Not to mention those people who work 40 hours a week or more and still not earn enough to live without seaking help of the government.
One might think a booming economy gives the chance to rise the salaries of the people. But that is wrong. While Polititians, Inustrials and Bankers have a nice live are the common people paying the Bills.
