So here we are with the staff again. As you can see, I have uber attached the ball to the top, detailed it with glue and started the paint job. If you'll recall from the picture with the shoe (and if you squint at the bottom of the photo) the stick started off this badly lacquered yellowish brown color. I've covered every little bit of yellow with white and then went ahead with some nice rich red washes to tone the browns. Now, the brown had a bit of green in it still, so when I wiped the paint, it started to show through, thus giving layers. We like layers. Now, the tidbits around the sphere are not anywhere near done. I just wanted to show you what my painting process looks like. Kind of like a life-of-an-artist type deal. Any questions?
