The inspiration for this was when I looked in the mirror and I realized that by sheer coincidence I was dressed in all black, with a large silver medallion, with a long unkempt mane of hair and with Sabaton blasting in the stereo. In reality, I'm a mild mannered Humanist/geek/hipster/folkie but if anyone had knocked on he door at that moment, they'dn't necesserily know it.

The funny thing is, I DO have an evil twin (OF COURSE I have an evil twin), that started off as a forum joke. Y'see, for some reason, EVERYBODY misspells my onlnie name as "Owler" sooner or later, so I decided that "Owler" has to be my Norwegian evil twin.
It's kind of a wordplay, Owl-OR is the swedish pluralization of "Owl" used on the english word and Owl-ER is the norwegian pluralization of owl on the english word. But as a norwegian friend of mine pointed out, it's only the pluralization used in Bokmål (old, litterary Norwegian), in modern Norwegian it'd be Owl-AR, so there may be a third twin running around somewhere that we haven't seen yet....

About the same way that my evil twin, Doktor Catlow, came about, back in the days of Yerf.. some artists were insisting that no one could be as nice as Gene, and the explanation was conjured up that the evil half of Gene was split off from me. It all evolved from that idea.
