story is baised off of a dream i had, bit gorey and soem violence, but to me, i wasnt scared at all during the dream.

The noises of the beasts could be heard just beyond the hill, what was coming was a absolute shock to shadow and his brother, there was streams of blood, going down the hill in thick globs, the screams behind them were never ending, no one knew what or how this was happening, they just came, no warning, no announcement, they just came and started killing in the thousands only the one able to outrun them were alive, and even now they were being hunted to extinction, these metal hybrids. no one knew what they were exactly, only that they only wanted to kill, kill and destroy any trace of life.
“Come on!” Shadow shouted to his brother Gabe, who was starting to lag behind.
“I can't go much farther, we have been running for hours, they haven't slowed down at all” Gabe said, panting profusely.
A older man approached them while they were running “are you two going south?”
“yes...why do you ask” Shadow said
“here take this” He said, handing shadow a card “let them know we are still out here”
as he took off towards a house on a field to their left.
“Come on gabe! its coming!” Shadow said pointing to the metal contraptions, its long metal claws grabbing anything in reach and shoving it into what seemed like a giant wood chipper on its front, blood and chippings gushed out of the bottom, nasua overtook Shadow as he turned away, trying to avoid the thought of getting captured. They turned and ran, a grove where everyone was rushing to was the only way to get out of this area the crowd rushing into a main grove, the screams head everywhere, yet a strange humming was coming from the end of the path
“hey you two!” Said a stranger from next to a tree, a look of urgency on his voice
“why aren't you moving? you're going to get killed!” Shadow yelled
“if you don't follow me you will be the one dead!” he said, “listen, hear that humming noise? that another machine waiting for them, follow me, there is a smaller path this way, takes you to a smaller coastal town” The man said, turning
Shadow shrugged and followed, now clearly hearing the deafening screams and the blaring of the chipper machine starting up. They are now trapped, all those people, no way out, three survivors from the pack.
“ok we can walk now, they can't get in here” The strange man said, he was cloaked, no part of his body showed
“yea...now answer me this, who are you and why did you only save us?” Shadow said, still not trusting this man.
“I am nobody” the man said, stepping off a cliff behind him, plummeting into the ocean
Shadow and Gabe ran ran over to the cliff, there was no way he would have survived that
“Well, that might have been weirder than the giant machines killing everyone” shadow said sighing
“look! there's the dock!” Gabe said, pointing to a two story stone house with a small dock and a sail boat
“its empty, lets take it and get out of here!” Shadow said, slowly sliding down the steep hill.
They sprinted across the yard the blood pouring over the hill into the water, making it very red
“ugh, i'm gonna be sick” Gabe said, climbing into the ship
“well you can throw up as much as you want once we get out to the sea” shadow said, hoisting the sails and steering it out to sea “We won't be going back there, ever” Shadow said, watching the flames and shadows of the giant machines, the screams slowly fading out as they sailed away out to sea.
