I liked this idea a lot when I started. By the time I got one done I was not having a good time D: I don't like them much... the chain was difficult to work around, it kept pressing into the clay and messing up the clean, round bits. It was hard to hold, inside has to be flat, I kept either smashing the teeth or pressing the chain into the clay and messing things up, while holding it to fix the back, the jaws would contort and it was a vicious cycle of fixing and messing up. So I personally wasn't very happy with my results, but my fiancee insisted that they were cute and that you guys would still like them. I'll take her word for it.

EDIT: Hey guys, I've talked to the etsy artist here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/9373420.....n-chomps-super who had similar earrings who a few people seem to think I stole this from (I had never seen hers before this, honestly) and she doesn't feel that I've stolen from her at all.
