"Sadness" is when you have an adorable finished model (above) but can't rig it right. You then have to go with a simpler character and not the one you've been working on for two weeks because your final project is due in two days. I modeled her after a short sketch of a silkie-girl character I doodled up in class and was planning on using her in my final animation project. Sadly, it's a class on animation, not modeling so if the animation is sloppy (which it would be because she wouldn't rig right) I would get a bad grade. Better to go with a quickly modeled but fully rigged seal than a nice model but poor animation.
