Wow! Here's the deal: I approached some of my furry friends and fav artists last year about compiling a comics and art anthology tied in to my blog. Response was enthusiastic, submissions started flowing in, and things were looking good for a late 2011 release. Then, just when I was getting ready to rock I quit my job, thereby doing away with my dispodable income and free time, and followed my heart across the country. My heart's happy, and my finances are slowly inching back towards the black, so I'm finally ready to share with you the first installment of the RRUFFURR anthology.

It's 80 pages, full color and hand-bound, as it sez in the flyer, and it comes in a special soft cover made from skateboard grip tape (ruff!) It's got stuff from some of my favorite artists working "in" "the" "furry" "community" including (to elucidate some noms des plumes)  redacteur (David Carlyle)  phylum (Audrey Morris)  ghostmeat (Jen Lee)  cubetriangle (Michael Arthur)  marcothecat (Billy Fore) and  hottapwater (Ian King) Content is mature general audiences.. like PG 13. Cartoon violence, a couple cusswords, and nonsexual catwang all appear.

It will be available for preorder starting Monday June 4th at rruffurr.tumblr.com, final price still pending. One will have the option to buy the book by itself or a special limited edition that will come in a printed envelope with goodies from birds, redacteur, weirdthingswithanatomy and more including stickers, bookmarks, postcards, pins, a bandana, and a mix CD
