The Wolven are a player character race, twelve foot tall canid humanoids living to the far north of the continent. One of the unique things about Palladium Fantasy is that, since its inception, if it has stats, you can play it. Nonhumans, monster races, outright monsters, etc. All depends on what the GM intends to throw at you, and whether you're doing straight up action or interaction.
