From the Gumball 3000 during it's stop in KC, May 28th 2012 at "The Plaza"
The disc breaks up front give it away as one of the new ones Morgan built. And even with that, I really don't know about driving it on any of the interstate highways for 3000 miles. I'd sure ask one of the drivers of the big cars behind me.
But of course it's cool to finally see one of these up close.
Late edit: This very car won the 2012 Gumball 3000.

Well, according to Morgan's own press release on this esoteric, retro torpedo, this has 115 HP and a five-speed gearbox provided by Mazda. That should get it up into Interstate speed range, if just barely.
Thinking about this kneehigh thing actually running cross-country, reminds me of some of the Brass Age publicity stunts where they ran their new Stude or whatever from coast to coast...in the years before the IHS.
How would *you* like to take on two hundred miles of road full of tractor-trailers in this thing?

Ahh, I'm jealous you got to see one in person! I haven't seen one yet, but considering the enthusiast scene here in NE, I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I have seen a handful of the original trikes in person though, as well as lots of other Morgan models. There's a lot of them here.
