So here is the magneto I've been working on. At this point, I've finished the armature, recharged the magnets, installed new screws, and put everything together as much as I could. I'd say it's looking pretty good! I'm still waiting on the new points to come in so I can finish the points assembly, and I still need to install the new spark plug wires and lead out towers for them. Other than that, everything is going along smoothly, and it won't be too much longer before the mag is complete!

I've been restoring the entire thing. It's pretty difficult to rebuild it, and VERY tedious. If you've hadn't seen it already, check out the armature! The distributor itself is that black ring on the end of it.

Oh lovely! My brother recently obtained an engine from a 1904 Locomobile, seen here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10542001/. He intends to build a speedster around it :)
