Cute piece for the AC art show, which unfortunately scanned badly. The panther is not so splotchy on the original, there's a bit too much contrast between her light and dark shades I couldn't fix.

Watercolor and a bit of acrylics on arches watercolor paper. <3

It does, omg! I finally got some because I needed another pad of smooth paper that was bigger and it was on sale! (I usually use fabriano, which is very nice too, but I just love the ever so slight waffled texturing on this one.)

Another worth trying would be The satin finish. 140lbs is heavy enough to take lots of washes(but see through enough if you need to use a lightbox), and its smoothe enough to do colored pencil details(if ever youre into that technique). I loves eet.

Yes, and the look in his eye brows up high with the realy open eyes-he looks so shocked and thrilld. That in contrast to her Oh-sorry happy and sure look she has in hers is prefect.

As much as I like this, I can't not see her lopsided ass. It's a good try, but the perspective is just off and it ends up looking like one cheek is nearly twice the size of the other.

It didn't look so odd at first, the spot under her left cheek makes it look like it ends lower and the reflection on the other one makes it look higher. I don't think it's so much a perspective issue as it is a coloring mistake on my part.

The way she is standing, she has more weight on the one leg than the other. That was what I saw. Of course, only a personal inspection will settle the question.
