It's not necessarily that Tails is a girl, it's that she works so much better as a girl. Nice job. I love the face. The pose, while not really dynamic, is perfectly fine for just a friendly wave, and the proportions seem... mostly fine. There might be a few issues with proportioning the thickness of the body in comparison to the rest of the body, but other than that it looks great. Keep practicing, keep drawing, keep working!
