This is what I've been working away at; it's going to be my puukko (which means knife in Scandinavian). This started off as being a flat file, and I have hand filed the bevel, added the "cuts" on the spine, just got done tempering it in the oven today, and have some of the brass bits milled out. The main handle is going to be solid oak. Haven't fully polished it or added the mustard patina yet, though I did mess around with the patina and like the results. Obligatory finished pic is coming.
*edit* The handle was a no-go, so I got some basswood and cherry that I'm procrastinating on laminating together.
