A daily normality to art kids, life drawing can be a wee bit unsettling to those not used to the notion, especially when the model is someone you know. So here we have our beloved crew of Serenity reacting to a life drawing session with a certain mercenary posing as model--

Wash: "Hey look! Model dinos! Those art kids think of everything."
Shepherd Book: "This is blasphemy."
Mal: "Y'know Shepherd, this here'll be the once I agree with you..."
Kaylee: (thinks) "I wish Simon would'a posed..."
River: "The.. the... big man has an disproportionately large leech stuck to him... will use up all his blood! None left for his brain!"
Simon: "No, River that's just ... put the paintbrush down, alright?"
Jayne: "Dammit guys, have some gorram respect! I ain't ruttin' sittin' here fore my health!"

Pure silliness. :3 Inspired by the episode "Shindig" when Jayne suggests getting naked to distract Badger.

Ink on Bristol vellum, 14" x 17". REAL ink; dipped Speedball waterproof. It has a nice, thick texture to it.. you can run your hand over the lines and feel them raised just a tad above the page, especially in the thicker bits where it's very built up.
