I was messing around drawing cartoony style 'funny animal' (the really old school word for furries) characters in a style more like my own. The good Captain here turned out the best of the lot and a far cry from my attempts to make Darkwing Duck look more like a natural duck. I guess I'll need duck reference pictures for that. I based the pose of this sketch on a mental image I had of a picture Alex Ross had painted of Superman for the Got Milk? campaign.
