I distinctly recall Mr. Fantastic, when he was ambushed one step out of an elevator, sending an enormous wrapped-up fist all the way around the elevator shaft to push the bad guy in the side of the head.

Haven't ya seen the Incredibles? Elastagirl has that habit of punching outta nowhere...since she can extend her arms to full length almost instantly ;)
