Some of you may have noticed that the new fursona I’ve designed for myself and featured in my last three works is... well, looking like they was filmed before the invention of color pictures.
That, in large, has to do with my own irresolution on the issue... when I was making THIS http://www.furaffinity.net/view/785866/ I spent a good hour-and-a-half changing the colors back and forth, unable to settle on one particular combination, until at last shouting some variation of the phrase “FUCK IT” and making it just black and white. Yeah, I pussied out.
To that, here’s a collection of what I, despite my indecisiveness, consider to be the best six combinations I came out with, ranging from analogously coordinated and consonant, to audaciously punk.
So... I dunno, is there one in particular YOU like? I wanna make a decision, here, and I want it to be permanent-like, but I’m crippled by my own indecision here. (This is why I always go clothes-shopping with a friend.) :p

Is this version of yourself supposed to be just lionized, or Kimahrized? In the latter case, the upper right color code is most familiar, but viewers might think you wanted to draw Kimahri and forgot the horn.
The upper left color code is most lionish, but a bit straightforward.
Green skin is hard to bear, yet I have a soft spot for the lower left color code, evoking both Kimahri and The Hulk ;o)

He's not really supposed to be much of anything, just a feline in general terms... but yeah, I did consider that the top right one had "Kimahri Colors" to it... but still looked pretty cool. Maybe it could be pulled off...

True... I could add stripes or something later on, if I eventually get to the point where I can draw them in such a way that doesn't look like ass. Or, hell, maybe not even stripes... birthmarks, branded patterns, or some cool shit like that.
This is a good suggestion... though I was leaning slightly toward the solid color scheme, part of the reason I was torn between it and the starkly unnatural ones was because I wanted to do something unique. Maybe details are the way to go.
