I've said plenty of things about how awesome my mom is, so I think it's time I mentioned my dad. My grandmother loves to tell stories about him, and this one is one of his favorites. He was very young, and he went outside and picked a handful of dandelions, and very proudly presented them to his mother. He called them "fleurs," like the french word for flower. As soon as I saw that this theme was flowers, I just had to do it as a kid with a bouquet for mom. ^^

No, my dad is not a raccoon, he would probably hate me for drawing him as one. It was just cute.
