So this one, although I hate how the acoustic sounds, I will upload cause I like the song.
Wrote this after figuring out how to play Jacob Moon's cover of Subdivisions, (which I really should re-learn/remember how to play it). It's capoed on 2 and tuned kinda weird, something like EAEACG (w/capo).
There are a ton of time changes in here, including a part I really am not sure what it is, 11/8 maybe? It's the fast part. I didn't even mean to make something with so many, I ended up figuring it all out after I played. There's like 4/4, 6/4, 6/8.
All done in one take with no editing, so it's kinda rough in some patches, but that's okay. I think was the first time I'd tried miking my acoustic and didn't really get the sound I wanted. Had to EQ a bunch of frequencies and were either overbearing or were standing waves from the room I recorded in.

Eh, I've never really liked how it sounded. I'm pretty sure I ran the mic through Guitar Rig to get the verb and to model it a bit. Placement of the mic had it far too boomy when I recorded, so I had to heavily EQ sections of it to brighten it up; I also brought down all the frequencies and harmonics of A, as they were over-powering a lot of sections. I should some day take the time to record it properly, having now spent more time miking acoustics. I just got two new mics today that I wanna try out on acoustic. Picked up an AT2020 and 2021 with 2 15' XLR cables and a mic stand for $100 of craigslist. I'm thinking the 2021 may also make an alright snare and/or hats mic.
