I was a temporary mom for a super adorable possum soft mount made by Atfirstplush: http://atfirstplush.deviantart.com/ who is now with her new and permanent mom <3 She was such a pleasure to have here and the adorableness that follows her wherever she goes.
Extremely super thick soft fur and those itty bitty hands! AFP's work is so amazing, I wish I had the camera that could handle such a little angel (if such a camera exsists, I mean look at that face!)
Please note: This possum is handled very gently and with care and respect. She was with me and was a tremendous artistic visual aid as it the rest of my pelts. This is a taxidermy piece so at the time of these photographs no. I had received her from the taxidermist (of whom she was sold out of her own personal collection) so any past knowledge of her is unknown. Judging by her size though its very easy to believe she may have passed away from natural causes, perhaps cold, as her fur was very thick suggesting a winter/late fall death.
