A tosa inu in traditional sumo garb and with ginko leaf hair style, ready for a fight.
The tosa inu is a rare Japanese breed bred for dog fighting. However, this is a wrestling dog. While they may bite to get a grip, the dog should actually pin the other dog to the ground. Champions are awarded elaborate embroidered aprons similar to those worn by human wrestlers for ceremonial occasions.
Figuring out how to get the belt tied correctly on something with a tail was challenging. I used a lot of photos to get the knot in back just right.
