WARNING: Large file - very wide artwork!!!
Ok... this is nothing really new, but it's something I've planned on putting together for some time now: This is the first part of a "Size Comparison" project. It shows the first 10 characters of my video game concept!
The idea was to put all my "Champions of Rulus" (Fighting Game Concept) together in some sort of... training stage and then show their heights and appearances in comparison to each other.
NOTE: The heights are written down in centimeters. But I don't intent them to be 100% accurate, okay? These are just guidelines... an approximation of suitable height information. The information might be correct, if all characters stretch themselves... nevermind.

I can't help but look at kyle and think "Mitsurugi" from Soul Calibur X3 his stance and actual appearance is REALLY similar.

*chuckles* well that would make sense! I also noticed that whereas Devon is like the big evil version of Reptile, Syrana appears to be the skinny evil version of Valerie, which I also have to ask, is Valerie connected to Reptile romantically? cause if so, that would link Syrana and Devon in a similar way. if not actual romance, than at least out of spite.
delightful! I knew I could spot plot relevant points just by looking at the characters! I'm fairly certain that judging by previous works, Groul's counterpart is Baramoth,
which would leave Kyle and Larom... a sword wielder vs a spellcaster? this will either be horrendously unfair, or a rather fun fight to witness

Well, the character didn't had any influence on my design of "Kyle". But the game "SOUL CALIBUR IV" did!!!!! ^___^
My brother created a character there, by using the palette and armor available. The result was a version of "Kyle", which was so good that I drew it myself... and used it for my universe.

Warte, Devon is größer als Reptile? Oder Groul?

Seit wann denn das? Der Junge muss ja immer brav seinen Spinat gegessen haben.
Ausserdem, ich finde das Bild echt gut und so, aber wenn ich mir die Charaktere in Relation zu einander ansehe und wie groß die sein sollen, dann bin ich verwirrt. Weil es mag an den Posen liegen, aber zum Beispiel sieht Reptile EXTREM kleiner aus als Groul, der sogar seine Frau, obwohl er größer als Valeris ist und nur 10 cm kleiner als Groul. Und das gleiche bei Kyle und Syrana.
Soll jetzt net zu starke Kritik sein, aber vllt wäre es für ein Comparison Bild besser das alle die gleiche Pose haben, weil sonst macht ein Size Comparison Bild nich wirklich Sinn. :P

Ich verstehe,was du meinst. Tatsache ist aber, dass es zum einen an den Posen liegt und dass ich die Sprites einfach aus den vorhandenen Bildern genommen habe!!

Devon's height is indeed impressing and massive. Quite impressive for a "lil" TWO METER hero like Reppy to overcome and defeat him.
It's like Mufasa. It's a great character, but sadly you know he dies. XD

Reptiles real mother died shortly after giving birth to Reptile. Since he was a child, he was raised by his Reptilian father and a human stepmother. Yes you must've thought about about his human stepmother.
Even with Devon dead, there is no reason not to love him!

I usually don't have such "one-dimensional" beings, either.
For example... Griswould, the Duke of Tandron... (from my "Circle of Doom" comic) he is just a very radical human. He is loyal and fight for his kind... but he wants the Reptilians to be wiped out! He is not completely evil, but his attitude is.
BUT "Devon" is evil! Or at least... he became very much evil during the war against the humans... and war does bad things to a person.
