I've played since 1.0, and pretty much only Dys till TF2 came out.
They're are still some servers up, but pretty much only a handful of people play anymore.
what was your handle bro? I switched from Ygthmere to Explodey Prophet and sometimes Rocket Fairy
I was mostly on the US servers, tho. |BD|, WnX, PsY, and the like
Oh my god I remember some of the guys who played, Bunnies, King Dead, Moloch, Min0z, Kieron, KingUbu, etc.
Some of the TEL guys would get drunk and sing Disney songs on voicechat.
The only person I still see when I play anymore is WnXGrievious, and it's kinda weird since he was like 15 then and now he sounds completely fucking different.
Also furry sprays fucking everrywhere oh my god

TL;DR Dystopia makes me feel fucking old.
I'm not sure, I think I played before Dystopia 1.0... that's when they added a lot of flashy stuff to the game like new models & guns.
Played with really shitty settings.
I remember playing nothing but dys_vaccine day in & out... x3
My handle was Spirit_Sherb, but I played mostly on EU servers I think. I know of |BD|, WnX and all those other clans... (I still regularly talk to Skiedragon from TCF) meeting them in public games was often a challenge, especially if it was one of those freaks that mastered the laser rifle. x~x
Wnx was also a bunch of oddballs, I remember there being a video where one of them smashes a keyboard or something, and half of them still used CRTs and ball mice...
Also had a mock-clan called |mew| with a few furry players for a while, mostly just so we could wear a fancy clantag.
Derped around the forums a lot, giving suggestions and playtesting new maps (some fellow even paid Supporter status for me after testing his maps). That was my signature for a long time.
Furry sprays, hah. I know some furries that liked to plaster everything with pornsprays... x) Well my sprays were always clean art, that I can say!
