It always irritated me how, in the classic Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rulebook, players choosing half-orc characters were basically instructed that they had to be boorish and nasty.
(Now don't get me wrong -- if I had played a half-orc, I'd want to act obnoxious! It's just that being told such behaviour is expected of your species reeks of racial stereotyping.)
